Since then, I’ve had tests, scans, procedures, hospital visits, etc. ![]() August 6, 2021, was the worst day of my entire life. I kept looking at Chris with tear-filled eyes saying, “why me? Why now?” Thinking about things a 28 year old wouldn’t “normally” ever imagine. ![]() Was it ovarian or colon? My entire world flipped upside down… as I thought about my kids, my family, my life. Long story short, a large cyst was found on my ovary during my c-section, and was sent to pathology for testing… and a few weeks later, I received the results that it was cancerous. 3 weeks after Leo was born, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. And I could use all the prayers I can get. My plan was to keep this private, but at this point in time, I know there’s power in prayer.
